And, she says, she wants to invite boys for the first time. Lizzie makes a snarky remark about stinky boys as she\u8217?s shown little interest in them so far. Emma gives her sister the stink eye.\par

Emma rolls her eyes and says she\u8217?ll give her mother a list but she insists that her mother \u8220?not be racist,\u8221? knowing that her mother will not be allowing any black or hispanic boys to come to the party. Emma had heard from her mother since she was little that the only suitable boys for her girls would be white or Hawaiian or perhaps Asian. Emma continues that she wants to limit which of her cousins can come to the party, complaining that some of them are just no fun at all. Elikapeka tells Emma that all of them will be invited and Emma shouldn\u8217?t push her luck or there would be no party at all.\par
